Model Bakery in Walnut Creek

If you haven’t tried the bread from Model Bakery, you’re missing out! I recently had lunch at the Walnut Creek location and it was delicious. I took two of my kids and they both loved it too. The bread is baked fresh daily and it is so, so good.

Model Bakery started in St. Helena in Napa Valley, and also has locations in Yountville and Napa in addition to the Walnut Creek store. I’ve been a fan of their baked goods for many years so I’m very happy they have a Contra Costa location. I’m in Walnut Creek frequently for work (CCRIM meetings, Women’s Council of Realtors events, broker tours, CCAR events, shopping with my teens…) and Model Bakery is conveniently located on North Main Street, near a lot of shops and restaurants.

In addition to baked goods, Model Bakery serves soup and sandwiches for lunch (highly recommend!) and they have a breakfast menu.
